I have played and downloaded audio and video podcasts primarily from itunes, but I have never intentionally searched for a podcast, and did not even think of what I may be missing. I will definitely do so from this point on.
I also wanted to add I enjoyed the 23 things @ the VHS, and learned some things in the process. I may continue blogging to boot. Thanks.

I'll be Googled
I do like Google Documents, and find it very useful as well. I actually think this is something I could/will use on a regular basis, and will give it a try.
It's A Good Thing
I really like the VHS wiki, and find it a very useful application. Things I find most useful include the finger tip file, collections that are in process, and books I am not supposed to have, but there are some great things there as a whole. The VHS wiki, its a good thing.

Networked
I chose Facebook as my social networking application. I will admit this is a first for me regarding anything like Myspace or Facebook. All seems good so far and I will see how it goes.

Delicious Technorati
I visited both Delicious and Technorati, and read about tagging and claiming my blog. I can see how being able to retrieve your bookmarks from online, from any computer, and finding new bookmarks based on what others have found could be helpful. Though I am not sure if I will make use of this feature or not, but I am thinking.
I thought Technorati was interesting, but I think technology in many ways can be kind of scary.

Week #4
I did look at all the websites, and my favorites turned out to be FD's Flickr Toys, Library Thing, Livemocha, and web 2.0 award winners. I thought generator blog was kind of cool too. One, it amazes me just how much information and gadgetry there is out there on the internet. With Generator Blog I liked the idea of software that you can have fun with, but there is so much there to try I doubt I will ever have the time to do so. I liked Library Thing mainly because I like books, I like to read, and am always on the lookout for something interesting or good. The site I liked most was livemocha. I am interested in learning a new language, so I may actually give this one a try.

Week 3
I used Google Reader as my newsreader account and subscribed to a variety of websites, including that of my beloved Yankees. Other subscriptions include world news, sports (other than the Yankees), blogs from the VHS aka 23 Things, and possibly more which will be added in the future.
I found Topix.net and sydic8.com useful in this process.

Flickr
I must admit that I have never used Flickr prior to this excercise, or for that matter blogged before. However, I can see how this can be a useful tool not only for the VHS, but for other institutions throughout Virginia.
As for flicker I did like the setup and the clean look to the web page, the photo profile and comment section, and found the tag feature very useful. I can also see this as a feature that could bring recognition to the VHS from far and near.
Overall, I was much impressed by Flickr, and who knows the Great Bambino may need a Flickr account afterall.
